The Virginia Assisted Living Association (VALA) will submit this program to the National Continuing Education Review Service (NCERS) of the National Association of Long Term Care Administrators Board of Examiners of Long Term Care Administrators (NAB) for up to 17.25 participant hours.
 
Some sessions at this educational offering will be eligible for contact hours relevant to the practice of nursing as authorized by the VA Board of Nursing to VALA. The maximum number of participant hours available relevant to the practice of nursing at this event are 14.

 

If you are planning to claim continuing education credits from NAB, you must register at the Full Conference or Speaker rate, as appropriate.
HR Professionals who are Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) Members: LeadingAge Virginia has applied for and received confirmation for SHRM PDC eligibility for three sessions of the VGCOA conference, each of which will provide .75 PDC (How Virtual Reality Helps Us train Better & Faster During Crisis; Let’s  Disrupt Ageism and Develop Elderhood!; and Intersections of Diversity and Ageism). In order to receive these credits, you must attend the sessions and complete the evaluations. These evaluations must be completed by May 28.

Remember that you need 60 PDCs for your 3-year certification.
